Fall is one of my favorite seasons for fashion. Why? Layering

Layering has become HUGE this season, and not just layering pieces, patterns too! Mixing crazy patterns is a great way to wear more than one favorite clothing piece at once!

Flare pants made a comeback this past summer and are trending constantly. I've loved seeing them paired with sweaters and boots! Flare pants tend to run long so pairing them with heeled boots is a 70's vibe for sure. Speaking of boots. Combat boots are the new converse! Remember in middle school and high school you could just throw on a pair of converse with anything? Including dresses thanks to Demi Lovato ;) Well combat boots go with everything. Seriously.

Every fad comes full circle and if you haven't noticed we're in the 70's again. I mean Stevie Nicks collaborated with Miley Cyrus come on! Baggy is better (a trend we can all get behind) baggy tops are the shiz. Button ups and blazers specifically! Wear them buttoned or open, so many styling possibilities.

Jewelry hasn't changed much since the summer! I definitely feel we're all digging crazy earrings. At least I am! Layering simple necklaces and buying handmade earrings is what's poppin' My gal Whateva Lola makes amazing rainbow earrings! Also who said you have to wear silver or gold? I mix them! Also, the more rings you wear the cooler you are. Which is why Phoebe Bufe is the hippie we all strive to be.
